This game made me understand the appeal of AAA games, all the AAA games I've played up until this point haven't had such a focus on being so cinematic during cut scenes or even during gameplay. However this game is next level cinematic, the way the cut scenes flow so smoothly back into the gameplay and vice versa is amazing, it makes you feel like you're playing a movie. The story is pretty basic and not that long however the extra quests to do and the gameplay more than makes up for that, it's just so satisfying, but after playing for a while the gameplay can get a bit repetitive. I view this game as something to come back to every few years so you can fall in love with it again not something to be playing constantly. Absolute masterpiece, I 100% recommend giving it a try.

Anime Review:

Name: Btoom!

I watched this anime in about 2 days. It's a short 12 episode anime, and I actually thought it was pretty good. It's nothing ground breaking but it has a pretty cool premis that always keeps you wondering what's going to happen next. The characters are surprisingly good and they actually go through character development in the story. One of the parts I find most interesting about this anime is the circumstances leading up to the people being sent to the island. We find out in episode 3 that everyone who was sent to the island was sent there by someone they knew that wanted to get rid of them. I find this so interesting because it shows the relationships these people had with the people around them before they came to the island. By far the darkest most twisted back story of any character in this anime is Himiko's. Her backstory is was so out of left field and absolutly heart breaking to watch, but her back story directly causes one of her bigest issues in the show, that being her not trusting men. I acutally think this was a good choice for her character to be like this because it shows such a drastic change in the trust she has for the main character Sakamoto, when in the past she didn't want anything to do with him, but later in the show she learns to trust him and even to love him. Over and over again in this show we are shown characters who acted to be on each others side until one of them betrays them, this is where our main character Ryouta Sakamoto's character developement comes in. He used to be a NEET, not caring for anyone but himself, but on this island where trust is one of the most important things he learns to gain trust from people by putting them ahead of himself, by risking his own life to save others, and this is how his team starts to trust him. However he makes a mistake, that cost the life of one of his teammates. He didn't listen to how his teammate felt about being left alone well the rest of the team went out to get supplies, because of that this teammate started to go insane, being alone with nothing but his thoughts for days. I think this anime has such a intersting premis and great characters however the anime ends on a clif hanger, with no hope of a season 2 because of the bad sales for the blu-ray and DVDs.
